I don't think there is anything that SpeedFan can do about this. Windows is designed to prevent the access, and I'm not aware of any settings that can be changed to allow it as a Limited User.

Once I saw something surfing the web about a way to circumvent this limitation. I will investigate.

As limited user you are not allowed to change some registry keys.
Maybe this is the problem.
When speedfan starts it tries to access about 40 registry keys and is not a allowed to ("Access denied").
