DescriptionWhen I start speedfan, it detects the drives etc, and @ detection is crashes, the program doesn't respond anymore, and after few sec, windows is totally death also, the only thing you can do is a reset !
Steps To Reproducejust start it :s
Additional Information4 hdd's on a Sil680 raid controller (pci)
2 hdd's on a promise sata raid controller (on board)

Try the following command line switches:
/NOSMBSCAN
/NOSMARTSCAN
/NOSUPERIO
/NONVIDIAI2C
and let me know which one (if any) fixes your issue.
Please, update the drivers for your RAID controller.

It looks like Sil has problem with SMART function access. Hopefully the latest bios + ms certified driver will solve this.

can't flash the bios on that controller, its a cheap ass controller without possibility to flash it :( cause it's ROM BIOS, unable to flash :s
and i use the latest drivers :s

/NOSMARTSCAN worked, now it booted perfectly :)

try'ed also the new version you released some minutes ago :) but still same :(

Do you have Silicon Image Sil 0680 Ultra-133 Medley ATA Raid Controller? I just flashed 3.2.10 into it... :)
But it still doesn't work (checked with 4.13 and beta after it)

It looks like a problem related to the Silicon Image driver.
You might try to contact the manufacturer for further info.
If you get any, feel free to let me know.
