| Description | he last thing I see is SMART enabling for drive 0 and 1, so I think my Sil0680 RAID controller is the problem. My drives: - Motherboard: PM winchester PS empty SM dvd-rom SS dvd-writer - RAID card: PM winchester PS winchester SM empty (rack) SS empty Motherboard: Asus P4C800 Video card: Asus 7700 Delux (Geforce2 Ti) | ||||

Please, try to run SpeedFan with the following command line switches: /NONVIDIAI2C /NOSMARTSCAN /NOSUPERIO If it starts, then try with one of them each time till you narrow down which switch fixes your issue. Then let me know. |

Only /NOSMARTSCAN is necessary to run it. |

The latest beta accesses SMART drives in a different way. Please, contact me by email if you would like to give it a try, instead of using the /NOSMARTSCAN command line switch. |
