| Description | My 203 GB Maxtor OneTouch III drive is not showing any information on the S.M.A.R.T. tab. Is this because it's not on the hard drive list? If not, how do I get it added to the list? Great software tool, by the way! | ||||

If you are running SpeedFan AS ADMIN then it's the driver that is not handling the relevant request. There is little I can do. Try to update the driver. |

Maxtor OneTouch drives are external ones, connected trough USB2.0 or FireWire. SpeedFan (and other SMART displaying sofware) does not capable to get SMART info from USB/FW connected hard disks. |
