Summary0000975: 4.33 causes a lock-up on my system - subsequent restart and login causes BSOD - registry error
Description4.32 runs ok (although has no control for fans). Downloaded and installed 4.33. As soon as I clicked the icon in the system tray my computer locked up. Restarted. After login I got a BSOD reporting a registry error. Had to boot to safe mode and use a restore point prior to installing 4.33 to recover.

First of all unplug the power cable for 30 seconds then reconnect it and let me know if everything is ok.

The /NOSMBSCAN command line parameter would fix this issue. There must be an unusual device on the SMBus. If you follow the DEBUG SMBUS procedure described in the help file and post the resulting file I will fix this issue without the need for the additional command line parameter.

I'm ready to fix this issue. Feel free to send me the output of the DEBUG SMBUS procedure.

BTW, it does run fine in /NOSMBSCAN mode and crashed during the debug process.

I have a beta for you. Please, send me an email (alfredo [at] almico.com) using an email account where you can receive a zipped exe (not gmail).

Yes the beta worked... no crash. No fan control (only tried on CPU fan though). I sent you an email with a report... I guess you didn't get it. Report is attached to this issue for your reference.
