DescriptionI receive the following error on running SpeedFan 4.32:
The ordinal 2821 could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled, same result.

Is this your dll or part of OS?

SpeedFan should ensure the latest dll's it is dependent on are installed.
I have never installed OpenSSL and thus it is only the programs that have been installed that could install/change it.

Which version of OpenSSL is required?
9.7c is available here:
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/openssl.htm
But this does not correct the problem.

Two versions, 9.7m and 9.8e are available here:
http://www.slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html
In both light and full versions.
Both correct the problem.

The part of code that links to that DLL is not mine and I can't change it, but I think that such an error message can only be a plus for the end user because this way the user is informed about a serious security issue he wasn't aware of. I will have a look to see if I can change the relevant source code.
