Summary | 0000919: Machine resets when scanning PCI bus.
Description | The machine resets (no bsod, no warning, nothing) when scanning the PCI bus (gets to nForce2 chipset). Using /NOPCISCAN avoids the fault but also avoids all the sensors :) It would be great to get SpeedFan working on this system as it has an extremely overzealous bios fan controller that puts the (very noisey) fans on 100% most of the time. (If anyone is thinking about it, don't buy one of these they're terrible!) I've attached a debug log, but I can see any errors in it. P.S: Thanks for a great program Alfredo! It works perfectly on every other system I've tried it on :)
Steps To Reproduce | Run SpeedFan in usual way with no command line switches.

No BSOD or it just doesn't displayed for you (by default if you use WinXP)? http://pcsupport.about.com/od/tipstricks/ht/disautorestart.htm |

Nope, there is no hint of a BSOD. It just reboots. I had an external kernel debugger attached at the time, so it would've caught the BSOD if there was one. |
