Description | I have three 500gb drives. One is plugged into the motherboard, the other two to a SIIG PCIe SATA II card. When I start SpeedFan, it sees all 3 drives: SMART Enabled for drive 0 Found WDC WD5000KS-00MNB0 (500.1GB) SMART Enabled for drive 1 Found WDC WD5000KS-60MNB0 (500.1GB) SMART Enabled for drive 2 Found WDC WD5000KS-60MNB0 (500.1GB) However, I only ever see HD0 and HD1 displayed throughout the program. I've attached the SpeedFan report data to this bug report. | ||||

If you look at the result of a SEND REPORT (INFO tab) you should see that SpeedFan detected bogus (duplicated) data returned from one of the drives. This is a driver issue and I can do nothing about it. There are several threads here talking about this issue. |

I think I see what you're talking about. Drives 1 and 2 have the same serial #. Which driver is at fault here? Is it something I can update or is there a workaround? |
