Summary0000841: Cannot restore SpeedFan's main window
DescriptionWhen I double click the tray icon (or right click on it and select restore) it doesn't get restored. Actually, it does appear in the taskbar, but it doesn't show its window. I'm not sure if it is only a bug in SpeedFan, since I think that the problem wasn't always there (I had v.4.28 before, and I think it worked correctly, then, after some time the problem occured) - so it might possibly interfere with some another program... but, again, this is the only program which doesn't restore it's window from the system tray.

I've got an ABIT NF7-S rev 2.0 running XP SP2 and this is something I never experienced. If you start SpeedFan minimized, use START MINIMIZED in CONFIGURE / OPTIONS.

Yes, only if I could, but since I can't get to the main window - I can't change any configurations, can I? :)

I'm thinking that maybe the window did restore itself, but somehow moved out of the viewable area...? What do you think of that? If that's the problem, maybe I could somehow move it back to normal...?

In such a case, when you think that SpeedFan's main window has got the focus press ALT-SPACE to gather access to the system menu and try to manually move the window.
Otherwise edit your registry looking for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SpeedFan\TForm1 and delete TForm1.
