Summary0000756: discrepancy of fan speed / bad voltage reading
DescriptionI have a GA-965p-s3 motherboard and I'm using a stock intel cooler.

When Gigabyte easytune reports the fan speed as around 2000 RPM speedfan says the CPU fan speed is 7800 RPM.

Also the +12V rail reads as sometimes 0V to about 0.8V, but in the Gigabyte software it reports the +12V as 0000004:0000012.1V.

My last problem is more of a misunderstanding. When the two core temps (core 0 and core 1) are around 40 degrees C, the CPU temp is found to be 35 degrees C.
I thought core and cpu readings would be the same, or very similar.

Additional InformationCould you, please, use the SEND REPORT button and then drop me an email to let me know the email address you used in the report?
CORE TEMPs can be quite different from the temperature read from external circuitry.

Reminder sent to: alfredo

Hi,
in the beta version you sent me a while back the cpu fan reading had been corrected for my ga-965p-s3 motherboard, but in the latest speedfan 4.32 release the fan reading stays on 135000 rpm, and the +12V varies between 0V and 2V depending on the cpu load.

Is there any way you could please correct this.

Thanks?

Hello,

same problem with my A8N32-SLI Deluxe and SpeedFan 4.32.0.169.
Speedfan reports CPU-fan @12.000-20.000rpm.

On previous versions, the displayed RPM value was correct. This is new in 4.32.
Should I create an own bug?
