I have never seen any temps or fan speeds available in Speedfan for my two 7800GTs. I didnt know video card temps were available until I saw this report. Speedfan does detect them - I see Found nVidia GeForce 7800 GT Found nVidia GeForce 7800 GT in the main window, also it finds them based on their bus ID, but there nothing exposed in speedfan 431 to adjust. It would be great varying the system fans based on video temps - at the moment I have to use the core temp to cool the video (eg if the CPU is working hard, the video probably is too) but really it needs video sensing. Even if we couldnt talk to the card, that would be ok, just having the temps detected so we can vary our system fans would be excellent. Thanks a lot EDIT: 3800+ X2, A8N32-SLI, 7800GT x2, Nforce 6.86, Forceware 93.71 |

I don't think you'll be able to get fan speeds to work as they have a 2-pin connector, hence no feedback wire for fan speed. I hope we get temps soon though! |
