Summary | 0000652: SpeedFan does not give correct voltage readings from Winbond W83627EHF on Asrock 939DUAL-VSTA
Description | The motherboard voltages of the Asrock 939DUAL-VSTA are not correctly read by SpeedFan. 12V displays as 7V and there is an entry AVcc displaying as 3.2V on my system. SpeedFan 4.29 detected & read more voltages from this chip, but all of them displayed wrong.
Additional Information | NOTE: CPU vcore is found & displayed correctly. I've send the ACPI table with the tool, so it is not attached to this feature request. 939DUAL-SATA2, that looks a lot like the 939DUAL-VSTA motherboard, correctly shows the available voltages. If you need more info, please let me know.

The Asrock 939Dual-VSTA sensor chip has 7 voltage inputs and the following conversion factors from the raw values: 0: Vcore = raw / 125 1: Vcore = raw / 125 2: DRAM voltage = raw / 80 3: DRAM voltage = raw / 80 4: +3.3V = raw * 0.016 5: +5V = raw * 0.024 6: +12V = raw * 0.053 - 0.1 Source: My own research. All values except DRAM-voltage are verified by comparing them to the BIOS display and measuring them with a digital voltmeter. |
