Steps To Reproduce | Happens every time. Start the other hardware monitoring program by motherboard MFG, and it reads what BIOS screen is reading (SYSTEM 40C, CPU 30C or so). Start speedfan and it correctly gets SYSTEM reading temp1. However, temp2 reading (CPU)reads 0C, which causes my motherboard-based fan speed controller to stop the CPU fan! Stopping speedfan leaves the other program reading incorrectly (0C). Have to reboot windows. Then hardware program reports correctly (30C) Starting speedfan again sets it to between 0 and 3 C, which persists after speedfan is shut down.
Additional Information | Changing to thermister or diode does not change reading for temp2. Also, I don't know if it's supposed to, but SF did not sense my Intel E6400 core temps. Thanks for any help you can give. Gayle Snedecor

I'm working to add support for IT8718F. Send me an email if you want to beta test it. Intel Core temperatures are on the to-do list too. |

It looks like the debug.nfo shows speedfan has found a IT8712F. I think speedfan should support this chip. Am I reading the logs incorrectly? Thanks! |
