Summary0000590: HP Proliant DL320 G3, HP Proliant ML350 G4 and HP Compaq EVO D310v doesn't work with SpeedFan
DescriptionI cannot use SpeedFan correctly with these computers: HP Proliant DL320 G3, HP Proliant ML350 G4 and HP Compaq EVO D310v. For the Proliant's model the temperature is not good and the fans are not there. For the EVO series I don't have a good temperature, but I get SpeedFan control (but not tested). With Proliant's I get a value like 8C... and with the EVO D310v I get a value like 138C !

The S.M.A.R.T. Info for hard drive is ok, the detection of the ACPI/DMI hardware seem to be ok... but the values returned are not good !

It could be possible that SpeedFan is not compatible with HP/Compaq hardware due to special setting ?
Steps To ReproduceSimply install the software and use it !

Yes. The special setting would be the fact that companies like HP/Comcrap/Dell like to leave the sensors off/disabled to save a few pennies in production costs.
