| Additional Information | Quite a strange story: Last week I installed a Zalman VF700 on my Asus V9999TD. Before, SpeedFan was unable to recognize my Asus V9999TD with the Fintek F75375S. All the sudden, SpeedFan recognized my videocard and was able to see the temps. The only change I actually did was removing and reinserting my videocard. The plug of the Zalman VF700 did not fit on my videocard, so I put it on my motherboard (Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe) and was not able to check if the RPM monitoring and adjusting would work. The temps seemed to be fine. Tonight I replaced the plug of my Zalman VF700 and connected it to my videocard. Unfortunately, SpeedFan did not recognized my videocard anymore. I do see however the next messages in the startup log: Win9x:NO 64Bit:NO GiveIO:YES SpeedFan:YES I/O properly initialized ... Found nVidia GeForce 6800 ... Unknown Winbond1=$5CA3 ID=$72 on SMBus at $2F Unknown Winbond2=$1501 ID=$80 on SMBus at $2F ... I forgot to mention that I was able to compare the temperature results with SmartDoctor, they were a perfect match! |

Hmmm, my own "The only change I actually did was removing and reinserting my videocard" set me to work... I removed my videocard, reinserted it again and it works! So, this Issue can be removed. |
