| Description | I have a BFG 6800GS AGP that it isn't detected by speed fan 4.28. I tried to edit the file 'pciidsdata.csv' but I have no success. Will SpeedFan support nvidia 6800 GS AGP on future versions ? | ||||

I used RivaTurner setting NVStrap Driver/PCI Device ID programming to 6800GT. then SpeedFan detected video card temperatures |

I am also experiencing the same issue with an XFX GeForce 6800 GS AGP. It is reported in the nvidia display applet as nv40 Board - p201-7. RivaTuner shows the device id as 0047 (which is not in the pciidsdata.csv file). Also tried copying/pasting/editing a new 0047 line into the pciidsdata.csv file and restarting, but no luck. Thought about changing the graphics card to report as a 6800 GT (per titofr's suggestion), but would rather wait until "real" support is available for the 6800 GS. |

Reporting temps is only half the battle... My eVGA GeForce 6800 is found, and fan speed is reported, but I can't control the fan speed. |
