| Description | Hi, This a feature request. It would be nice to have an option(check box) in the advanced configuration tab in order to hide the Clock tab in the main window. Since the clock tab is never used by normal users and there is the posibility to hurt your system, as the pop-up window says, it would be nice to have this tab hidden altogether and enable only via the advanced configuration tab only by experienced users. | ||||

IMO clock control could be dropped as well, it's too old to be of any use. |

I also recommend that the suggestion of oliversl be implemented. SpeedFan has two basic categories of functionality: (1) measuring/monitoring sensors and (2) modifying hardware settings. Personally, I exclusively use the "read-only" measuring/monitoring capabilities - and would prefer to disable all functionality in the program that could be used to modify or alter hardware settings, in order to minimize the risk of making an accidental change. I like the ability to change CPU frequency automaticly. However it's a bit unstable... Making it an advanced "hidden" feature wouldn't hurt, though. |
