Descriptionwith the realase of this version of speed fan, speedfan no longer reports fan rpm's. i am not 100% sure of my motherboard make/model. the pc is an hp pavilion 533w and they say the motherboard is a "Trigem GL VE 2002052" fan sensore "LPC47M192 at $600 on ISA" i saw a similare issue on here and tryd to raise the fan divisore from 1. i got to 10 and chickend out thinking it would cause damage.

Make sure you changed FAN DIVISOR and not FAN DIV. Try with 8.

ok, i suddenly feel quight ignorant, where exactly is the divisor? when i click configure > advanced > and select LPC47M192 at $600 on ISA. i see the following.

PWMOUT1 clock -- Always HIGH ($F)
PWMOUT2 clock -- Always HIGH ($F)
FAN1 mult ---- 1
FAN1 div ---- 1
FAN2 mult ---- 1
FAN2 div ---- 1
Reverse PWM01 logic --- OFF
Reverse PWM02 logic --- OFF

so i feel really dumb asking, wheres the divisor option?

I see :-)
Sorry: usually the BIOS sets that value to the most appropriate one. I added support to change that value for 95% of sensor chips. I need to add it for yours.
