Summary0000367: Configuration not loaded on system startup
DescriptionWhen I (re)start the machine, Speedfan detects the IT8712F of my motherboard again and forgets all the settings I've done before (name of the fans, speeds, tresholds...). This doesn't happen with the LM99. I didn't send any report via the reporting tool... would it be any useful? If so let me know, I will send it.
Thanks.

Run SpeedFan, do some configuration, exit from SpeedFan.
Can you see a speedfansens.cfg file in your SpeedFan's directory?

Solved in the middle of the night :-) Since after every boot the IT8712F was taken care of by the "Smart guardian" (in the "advanced tab", selecting the IT8712F from the dropdown menu I had to select "software controlled" for the 3 fans every time... even if fan 3 cannot be controlled), I just tried to disable this "Smart guardian" in the bios. And it worked. Infact when I turn on my computer now, the CPU fan is spinning and not idle as it used to be before, but when I log into Windows and Speedfan is loaded, both CPU and chassis fan begin to slow down.
Thank you for this great software and I hope this post can be useful for other users too. Sorry for bugging you, probably I should have thought about this solution before.

I see. Did you notice the REMEMBER IT setting on the ADVANCED tab in the CONFIGURE dialog? That checkbox will make everything work fine even even if BIOS resets everything on every reboot :-)
