| Description | Hi Alfredo, i bought an Abit AN8 SLI-Motherboard. with Speedfan 4.24 i am able to read the temperatures, fanspeeds and Voltages. but i am not able to change any of the fanspeeds. the window for configuring the fan speed is blank.. | ||||
| Additional Information | I used an Asus A8N SLi dlx. before and had no problems to chang the speed of 2 fans. | ||||

ywh mate got the same mobo as you Abit AN8 SLi --------------------------------- yeh i am in great need of speedfan fan control. you just can't get any better fan control then speedfan. if you are using a Serial ATA hard drive then i sould also consider that you disable smart scan. that if u are having music problems like jerks, skips, etc. make shortcut on desktop [ right-click > properties ] where it says target put /NOSMARTSCAN - example below C:\Program Files\SpeedFan\speedfan.exe" /NOSMARTSCAN then press ok and run it.. this is only if you are having audio listening problems as described. -------------------------------------------------------------- hopefuly their should be more support for the uguru xhip in next speedfan version. In order to add fan control I need to decide how to implement it. Because of the structure of uguru, I'm considering an alternate way to control fan speeds. |

I have an AN8-SLI and i am wondering, if there is some progress on this matter. As of now there does not seem to be any support for controlling the fan-speeds of this mainboard. I am not sure if this applies to all |
