Summary0003061: pwm1 goes to 5%
DescriptionHW monitor, bios and speedfan fan operation and readings have been fine prior to this problem. I set up speedfan and it seemed to be working fine at low cpu temp settings where things were running. It is set to run the cpu fan and a psu fan I control. I set up a task to start it at startup. But now suddenly the psu fan still runs fine, but the cpu fan is showing crazy impossible fan numbers. I don’t know exactly what the fan is doing, but HW or speedfan will show it jumping around from 0 to 675000 rpm. It also sets that fan to 5% even if I set the graph to 20% or more minimum. Any idea what has gone wrong or how to fix it? W7 64.

Some fans report odd values when slowed down.
If they are PWM controlled, but using 3 wires, you could go to advanced config options and see if any alternate PWM frequency is available for your hardware monitor chip.
