DescriptionThis post is an updated follow up to issue #0002529. I cant delete my old ticket so i made a new one.


Speedfan 4.51, 4.52b4, 4.52 all do not pull the correct CPU temperature value from the NCT6791D sensor on the motherboard.

I found the following comment from AIDA64 forums from 2011. I think it might still be pertinent to this case:
 
"Asus uses a special CPU temperature register of the NCT6776F sensor chip on a few of their motherboards. Most hardware monitoring software don't even know that register exists "

I have attached AIDA64's ISA, SuperIO, SMBus dumps in addition to SpeedFan's System Dump and Debug.nfo file.
