Summary	0000248: S.M.A.R.T. Temperature not detected on Adaptec 29320 when HostRAID is enabled
Description	This Adaptec SCSI controller when used in RAID mode, uses a settings controlled by its BIOS named "HostRAID". Speedfan cannot detect any values from S.M.A.R.T. on this controller. The HDs connected are: 2x Seagate ST373307LW. Adaptec's own app reads SMART fine. I've sent a report using sfscsitest tool v.1.13.

alfredo 2005-04-18 12:07 manager ~0000841	Most likely, Adaptec is not publishing SMART info through standard calls, but using custom calls. I will look for some datasheets, if any.
