| Description | Is it possible to set CPU fan speed to desired speed when CPU load is 100%? For some reason speedfan does not react as fast as I need to CPU core temperature and sometimes it stucked on lower speed and CPU gets overheated (may be process priority question) | ||||

YES i would like to have CPU load based events as well!!! (want to ramp up/down CPU multiplier and voltage) I too noticed Speedfan not ramping up fanspeed when my system is under extreme load. Also Speedfan kind of locks up when i have it open. And resumes normally when the extreme load is gone. The default priority is set lower than normal, which is a probable cause. I have set Speedfan to automatically start up with my system, via the task-scheduler. There comes in a tweak to make the priority higher. Create the task as you wish, export the task, then delete the task from the task scheduler. Edit the exported xml file, and look for priority. It's set to 7, change it to 5 and save it. Import it back into the task scheduler and voila,at next startup the priority is normal. |
