Summary0002404: Some temperature sensors not displayed
DescriptionHi,

The fan control works fine with my motherboard (Asus Maximus VII Gene), but two of the temperature sensors do not seem to be displayed. These are the external sensor T_SENSOR1 (which I would like to use to control the fans)and the VRM sensor. Some unknown temperatures are displayed but these do not move. Can you help?

Many thanks.

Still not working with SpeedFan 4.52 beta 4.
ADIA64 displays these two temperatures correctly and shows them as "Temperature#1" and "VRM".

Hi,

I done a bit more research on the problem. Looking at this post on the HWiNFO forum http://www.hwinfo.com/forum/Thread-Asus-Embedded-EC-chip-get-bugged-T-Sensor-values. These temperature sensors (together with other voltages) are read by an embedded controller chip on Asus motherboards not the Nuvoton NCT6791D. The controller is in turn accessed via the AMDA00 Interface Driver.

It would be great if you could incorporate this into SpeedFan.

Many thanks.
