Summary0002288: Can't detect back fan on Asus Z97-A
DescriptionI have 5 fans on my current rig and only 1 fan (back=chassis fan 1) can't be detected
*Picture attached to see the undetected fan*
The undetected one is my back fan (Chassis 1)
Aux Fan and Aux1 Fan are my front fans (Chassis 3 and 4)

Hello, can you send me a SEND REPORT from SpeedFan's INFO tab referencing to this issue in the notes, please?
By the way, am I wrong or both software in the picture are reporting only 4 fans?

 Hello.. The other software cannot detect the CPU_OPT Fan that's why it only detects 4.. Speed fan detects CPU_OPT fan and it's accurate based on RPM (same fans with 2.7k max rpms) but can't detect Chassis 1 fan which is the back fans of the motherboard. Will send a report now on speed fan with notes. Thanks :)

Sausuke, I have a new beta that should fix this issue.
Please, send me a SEND REPORT from SpeedFan's INFO tab.
Remeber to enter your correct email address when sending the report, otherwise I cannot get back to you. Add a reference to this issue in the report notes.

Done :D Changing fan speed (manual) is the only problem now.. Been using smartfan IV and thermal cruise as of moment XD

Just enter CONFIGURE / ADVANCED and set PWM MODE to MANUAL. Easy :-)
