Summary | 0002231: Improper temp shown in notification area icon
Description | The icon in the notification area shows the GPU temp (currently 53) This is the same reading I get on the main screen under GPU. However, my CPU temp is at 60C and I have seen it as high as 80C. The icon should show the CPU temp, not the GPU temp. Actually, it should show whichever is the hottest, and some indication as to which it is showing.
Steps To Reproduce | No steps, just start program.
Additional Information | I believe I have reported this before.

After searching the web, I came across a site that explained how to for SpeedFan. In there I found the answer to this topic. Lawrence Lee posted a good HowTo. http://www.silentpcreview.com/article1275-page1.html This Topic can be closed. Thanks, Mark. |
