Summary | 0002228: Access violation error and fan speed changes when entering Standby
Description | Hello, whenever I enter Standby on my computer my CPU and case fans reset to 30% and 20%. I like to keep them at 100% at all times. On standby, I'm given an access violation error: Access violation at address 0051FA43 in module 'speedfan.exe'. Read of address 00000018. Also, the fan speeds change back after I restart/shut down. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Evan

The reason I use SpeedFan is that my BIOS doesn't have a fans at 100% option. EDIT: to clarify, the fan speeds always stay reset to 20% (CPU) and 30% (case) after return from any standby, reset, or power off. |
