Summary0002213: Harddrive Won't Spin Down
DescriptionI have Windows setup to spin-down my hard drives when idle. But starting Speedfan spins them all up, and does not allow them to spin back down until I exit the software.

I only use the software to change my fan speeds, and I don't care about any hard drive features.

If you don't need SMART, the fastest fix is to start SpeedFan with the following command line parameters:

/NOSMARTSCAN /NOADVSMARTSCAN /NOSCSISCAN
