Summary0000218: ICE fan speed control work on SN95G5-V2, but ...
DescriptionWith the last beta version i can now control the speed of the ICE fan, but it's not possible to control the 2 other fans (FAN2 and FAN3). Maybe this MB can only drive the 4-pin fans ?
Something else i just saw, the speed2 (pwm2 ISA) fan button does'nt control a fan but the lights in the front of the shuttle (power and HD activity lights) :o)
So, my interrogation is:
do some of the other speed buttons handle a critical component of the MB, which could be accidentaly damaged by reducing automaticaly the voltage ?

Sorry for my english.

Only Shuttle knows for sure which fan can be controlled.
About the LED thing: please, send me a SEND REPORT (INFO tab) and drop me an email. I will investigate :-)

Ok, i just sent you a REPORT.
I hope it will help you.
It seems the sensor can control LED too. (As it's possible in the BIOS)

Does SpeedFan 4.22 fix this issue?

I already have the 4.22 version, and i don't know if it's really an issue.
I just saw we can control the brightness of lights, which is fun and available in the BIOS.
I'm just afraid Speedfan would be able to control something else not visible and for which automatic changing would damage it.

Ok, i didn't test the last version officially released 4.22, i only tested with the beta 11.
