Summary0000210: fan speed runs on max. speed during 1 second when SpeedFan overtakes the control from bios
DescriptionI've enabled the q-fan function in my bios. so the cpu fan runs with 0000008:0000030% while booting windows. when windows is loaded, speedfan starts automatic and I've enabled "automatic fan speed" and for my cpu fan I've predefined also a worth of 30%. so far so good.
the flaw is: when speedfan starts and overtakes the control from bios, the cpu fan runs for about 1 second with full speed. is it possible, that speedfan keeps the low fan speed while overtaking the control? thx

If you have got the IT8712F then you have entered CONFIG / ADVANCED and followed the tips from the help file. You did the right thing. It might be that changing those parameters leads to a temporary fan speed change. I did my best to set those values in a sequence that minimizes troubles.

i took a look closer to the advanced settings but i can't find any parameter which resolves the problem. i think the problem is when speedfan starts by default the fan settings are 100% and in a second step speedfan overwrites the values with the "automatic fan speed" settings. so maybe you can build in a check whether "automatic fan speed" is enabled and if the value is true, speedfan should import the customized fan speed as the default startup fan speed.
