| Description | I'm constantly exiting speedfan by accident by click the X after looking at the stats. It would be great if there were an option to make it minmize back to the tray when you clicked the X to close the form. | ||||

I was about to make the same recomendation. Also if it was to run as a service so that it would start to control the fans even without a user being logged it would be very cool. |

Agreed, a service would be good but that would be a major re-write of the program... probably wouldn't happen. I'm a .NET developer so I don't know how trivial that stuff is to do in delphi, I know its not "exactly" trivial in .NET either. |

Ok. I will consider minimizing. Just one question: how should I allow the end user to actually close SpeedFan? Should I rename the MINIMIZE button to CLOSE? Any suggestion that won't hurt those that are used to the MINIMIZE button on the main window? |

How about just right clicking the tray icon and choosing "exit". I think that would be the best option. Q.. |

I agree with Q. Ideally, Minimize should minimize to the taskbar and X should minimize to the tray (no taskbar entry). To exit the program, right click the tray icon and choose &Exit. |
