Summary0002079: Speed fan is not detecting CPU temperatures - Opteron 6212
DescriptionMy old processors, 6120 Opteron reported CPU temperature correctly, however with the upgrade to 6212's the internal CPU temperature is no longer being reported. There of course is now a 6300 series as well now.

PC Meter along with Windows gadget All CPU Meter can report this information, so it is still available, perhaps at a slightly different address in the chip?
Steps To ReproduceRun Opteron 6212 processors.
Additional InformationI don't mind trying test-software on my machine, or if it helps, the identical motherboard with the 6120's on it, I turned the old processors into a new server machine. It's running Linux, but if necessary I can probably make a quick Window s boot image for it.
