Summary0002000: SpeedFan sees only one of my two hard drives
DescriptionI have a fairly old Pentium 4 system with an ASUS P5LD2 motherboard. The on-board SATA controller had become flaky, so I replaced it with a StarTech 4-port PCI SATA RAID controller card.

I initially had one hard disk, a 500GB Seagate, connected to the first port of the controller, and SpeedFan was able to recognize it correctly, and report the S.M.A.R.T information for it.

I then added a second hard disk, a 2TB Seagate, connected second port of the controller. SpeedFan recognizes it correctly too, and reports the S.M.A.R.T info for it. However, it no longer sees the first drive (the 500GB one), which it did see before I installed the second drive.

FWIW, I tried CrystalDiskInfo, and it sees and correctly reports on both drives. However, I want to use SpeedFan, due to the other features that it has.
Steps To ReproduceTwo SATA drives on a StarTech PCISATA4R1 controller (don't know if that's necessary).

Are you sure that the SMART data returned by other softwares is different for the two drives?
Did you try SpeedFan 4.47 beta 4?
