Summary0001805: Question about SMART reporting via RAID controller.
DescriptionI'm currently running SF4.44b4 (the drop down doesn't have that option). I was wondering if SF (or any other similar monitoring program for that matter) can gather SMART/Temp/etc information from an Intel ICH10R chipset. I know with other programs I've used, the support said that at that time they were unable to gather reporting information from the controller "due to the way it tracks the information." Is this functionality something that can be added? Intel's Rapid Storage Technology configuration program isn't useful for tracking disk degradation, etc.
