|Summary||0001786: CPU temperature reported as -60 on Asus P8P67|
|Description||CPU temperature reported as a constant -60 even when under load using the stock cooler.|
Temperature reading in EFI BIOS is correct.
|Tags||No tags attached.|
|Motherboard Model||Asus P8P67|
|Video Card Model||POV GeForce GTS250|
Upgrading from 4.42 to 4.43 without uninstalling seemed to fix this problem.
However, installing 4.43 as a clean install reproduces this issue.
||Are you sure that Asus connected the relevant sensor? If CORE temperature is available, there is no need to look further. That's what you need.|
It worked when I upgraded from 4.42 to 4.43 so I would assume so, I haven't tried the 4.44 beta yet so I can try that and see if it works.
It has the same Nuvotron NCT6776F SuperIO Chip that the P8H67 has.
||Confirming same issue with 4.44 beta 4; CPU temperature stuck at a constant -60 degC.|
SpeedFan 4.43: I don't have this problem on ASUS P8P67LE (i7-2600 cpu) although CPU temperature seems to be a bit high at around 85C, and AUX also at 65C.
Other temperatures seem reasonable.
Alfredo, Thanks very much for SpeedFan. Much appreciated!
A small suggestion: On Speeds Configuration page:
Change 'Automatically variated' to 'Automatically varied' (better English).
