| Description | Recently started switching over from Win7 32-bit to 64-bit. In the process, converted SATA drives to AHCI. Win7 32-bit uses SpeedFan 4.42 and everything works fine -- temps, fans, SMART. Shows all devices including all 4 hard drives. Installed same version to 64-bit -- shows NO hard drives. No HDD temps on main screen, no HDD list in SMART pulldown. Installed 4.43 beta -- that DOES show, but doesn't launch on startup. Can launch manually -- but want to use 4.42 which DOES launch on startup. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Install 4.42 in Win7 64-bit Launch app Look at first screen -- confirm NO HDD temps shown Goto SMART page; confirm no HDDs listed in SMART pulldown Goto Exotics page; confirm no HDD temps no HDD percentages shown. Add shortcut to Startup folder Restart and confirm that Speedfan is launched | ||||
| Additional Information | Speedfan 4.43 beta does NOT launch when added to Startup -- but this is a different problem and I'll report it separately | ||||
