Summary | 0000169: all versions since 4.17 do not control cpu fan
Description | Hi, I have an Asus A7V880 with KT880 chipset. My CPU is a XP-M 2400+, which is controlled by CrystalCPUID. The Multiplier is changed on-the-fly from 6 over 9 to 11.5. The CPU Fan ist controlled by speedfan. Version 4.17 works very well. All Version afterwards the fan is "controlled" down to 0, but it is still on full speed. What ist the Problem? THX C PS: Sorry for my bad English, haven't practiced recently.

If your hardware monitor chip is the IT8712F, did you read the popup that should have appeared the first time you ran the new version? Support for IT8712F was extended. Now you might need to enter CONFIG / ADVANCED to set SOFTWARE CONTROLLED PWM MODE (if the BIOS didn't set it for you). The help file should contain some interesting info. |
