Your SMBus can't be properly accessed. If you've got INTEL ACTIVE MONITOR, you might consider removing it. |

Hmm, with the program "Clockgen for ICS952607" i can change the FSB, but why not with SpeedFan? link: http://www.cpuid.com/clockgen.php |

Same problem here on a Asus p4p800 deluxe. I cant change fsb speed with speedfan but Clockgen for ICS952607 works fine. startup : ERROR collecting CPU Usage : 1 (Unable to locate the "Processor" performance object) !!!Exception in reading CPU INFO at startup (2)!!! Hi, the correct type in the Shuttle SB75G2 is "ICS 952607EF". Perhaps is the "ICS 952607EF" not identically with th "ICS 952607" ???? |
I guess so. I don't know why, but the last chars in the name are always significant, even though it might seem they are simply cosmethic :-) |
By the way: any news on this issue? There are a lot of different ways to change the FSB with modern PLLs. SpeedFan uses the internal tables located on the chip, but if any advanced mode is selected, it might not work. |

Hi, perhaps the problem comes along, because i can additionally change the S-ATA Bus in the BIOS. There a four Buses which i can change. So there is one Bus more than the Buses which SpeedFan do shows: "CPU, AGP, PCI", S-ATA is missing for me. I have doubles CPU, AGP, PCI, like this: 200 / 50 / 25 200 / 59,99 / 30 200 / 66 / 33 200 / 66 / 33 200 / 66 / 33 200 / 66 / 33 201,98 / 67,33 / 33,33 Is that normal? Perhaps read SpeedFan the S-ATA Bus and mixes with the another three Buses. Is that possible? edited on: 10-21-04 12:52 |

I have an Asus P4P800 Deluxe and am also unable to change the FSB. Any ideas on how to make this work? |
Same problem on a asus p4c800-e deluxe: speedfan write clock, speedfan read clock but the clock frequency doesn't change! PLL ic is ICS952607 |
I've the same problem with ASUS P4P800-SE and Pentium M 740 on CT-479. A bug ? |
Same problem here with Asus P4P800-E Deluxe. Would be great if the problem was solved. Clockgen also works fine here. However it's not that usefull as you have to set the clock speed manually every time... Btw, hi everybody. Many thanks to you Alfredo for this great tool. You have my respect and gratitude. Tested it with version 4.26. |
Is there anything I can do to help out? Would some further debug info help? Do you need some1 to test something, or help in any other way? |

Hmm, seems that this may be a tough problem. There has been no significant change in this topic for many months. I wish this could change, but I understand that the volume of all reported bugs and new motherboards / sensors that need to be added is just to high. Anyway, hope never dies ;-) |

Same problem with Asus P4P800 Deluxe. I want a silent PC with auto fsb control. Speedfan would be great, but the CPU speed doesn |
