Summary0001579: PWR Fan also controling the CPU Fan
DescriptionGigabyte GA-P55_UD3R Program can shut CPU & Sys FAN 2 off, nothing on Sys Fan 1 but the strange thing is that PWR Fan when lowered will lower the CPU Fan but not the fan that is hooked to that controler, it will not shut it off just lowers it down to 700 rpm range.
Steps To ReproduceNot sure what this means but I have installed it several times, changed all the settings I know. Is it a bug or condition with the board? I would like to get one of these other 2 fan headers working to have the CPU on one, intake on the other and exhaust on the 3rd.

Is there any Gigabyte tool that allows to manually change those fan speeds so that you can check whether it is a bug in SpeedFan or a "feature" of the mb?

They have a program called Easy Tune and I tried that but the smart fan section of it only allows control of the CPU. Within the bios I only have a choice to enable or disable fan control which I have tried SpeedFan with both options and get the same results. If sleep worked corectly I might not even mess with the fans but it seems to work for a while then for what ever reason stops. Would it be to much power to split the fans and put them on 1 header, all are 120mm fans or would I be better off spending some money on a mcubed t-balancer controler?

Also had a question about software control in the advanced section, I have changed all of the pwm's to software control but what is the pwmout clock and I do have a choice within the bios to have the fan control under auto, pwm or voltage, should it be pwm or auto and does that clock need changed? Its on 3M now.
