| Description | Speedfan 4.40 on the MSI P55-GD80, which uses the Fintek F71889 super i/o, seems to detect only 4 of the 5 fan headers available. Testing all headers with the Nexus D12SL-12 PWM fans came to this results: - CPUFAN Header: Speedfan fan1: 0% = +/-630rpm, no full stop possible. - SYSFAN1 Header: Speedfan fan2: 32% = +/- 500rpm, full stop possible. - SYSFAN2 Header: Speedfan fan3: 31% = +/- 500rpm, full stop possible. - SYSFAN3 Header: Speedfan unknown: does not control nor register rpm for fan4. - SYSFAN4 Header: Speedfan unknown: does not control nor register rpm for fan4. Furthermore control of speeds for fan 1, 2 and 3 is smooth. Speedfan 4.41b3 the results again with the Nexus D12SL-12 PWM: - F71882F: fan1: CPUFAN: 0% = +/-630rpm, no full stop possible. - F71882F: fan2: SYSFAN1: 32% = +/- 500rpm, full stop possible. - F71882F: fan3: SYSFAN2: 31% = +/- 500rpm, full stop possible. - F71882F: fan4: UNKNOWN: Not present. - F75387: fan1: SYSFAN3: Registers rpm, but no control (25% in bios = +/- 800rpm). - F75387: fan2: SYSFAN4: Registers rpm, but no control (25% in bios = +/- 800rpm). Note: MSI Control Center is able to control all fans from 50% to 100% and is reporting the exact same rpms. Temperatures: GPU: Not in CC, but seems to be ok. Temp1: CPU in CC Tenp2: Not in CC, but follows temp 3 within 1C or 2C. Temp3: SYSTEM Core0: Not in CC, but seems to be ok. Core1: Not in CC, but seems to be ok. Core2: Not in CC, but seems to be ok. Core3: Not in CC, but seems to be ok. Remote 1: Not in CC, and doen't seem to be ok at -111C Note: MSI Control Center and Everest are also reporting the mosfet temps 8x DrMos and 2x VTT |

Note: Everest makes report of a F75388SG instead of a F75387. Speed% on this chip keep jumping back to 27% and 45% (not directly, but after a while). |

Note: The F75387 (or F75388SG) seems to adjust speed much quicker (read instant) than the F71889F. |
