| Description | I now have a four pin PWM CPU fan and SpeedFan will not change the speed automatically. Speed02 will change the speed automatically on fan channels 1 to 3. I see in another thread that has been locked that this issue with the CPU fan header was supposedly resolved back in August 2009 and SpeedFan v4.40 was released, but I can not get it to work. In the advanced configuration tab, selecting Winbond WW83667HG then changing PWM 1 mode from SmartFan3* to manuaul the speed of the fan will drop by 20% or so, but that is all I can get it to do. What settings do I need to change so that I can use Speed01 or Speed03 to automatically change the speed of the CPU fan? | ||||

I have noticed that: On the Configure/Fans tab the sensor for my CPU fan is listed as CPU0 Fan. The PWM CPU fan is connected to motherboard connector CPU_Fan. On the Configure/Speeds tab the sensor for Speed02 is listed as CPU, but Speed02 controls the the three chassis fans that are connected to motherboard connectors Cha_Fan1, Cha_Fan2 and Cha_Fan3. |

Did you try to set all PWM MODE in CONFIGURE / ADVANCED to MANUAL? |
