Summary0001542: Lockup for 90sec during HDD detection (SSD)
DescriptionHi,
Nearly every time Speedfan launches (but not every time), my HDD access light goes solid on, and system goes completely unresponsive for around 80-90 seconds, then all proceeds as it should. This is reflected in this portion of debug shown below. This issue has persisted for at least the past two versions of Speedfan, not sure before that. I'm not sure if it's related directly, but I do have an Intel X25-M SSD and see some other users with reported bugs that have an SSD.

If not run as administrator (e.g. no access to SMART), launch is smooth but of course no HDD data is displayed.
Steps To Reproduce-Launch speedfan
Note, whether launched at system boot or delayed, behavior seems the same. One in about five speedfan starts will not show behavior.

Alfredo,
Whoops, if you could mask/remove my drive serial numbers, that would be appreciated :)
Not sure much can be done with them but you never know...

Cheers!
