Summary | 0001515: Speedfan freezes after scanning resources
Description | I don't know what changed, but Speedfan used to work perfectly on Windows 7. Now, every time I launch it, it will freeze after scanning motherboard resources and never respond again. This occurs whether I run it normally or with elevated privileges. The last line in the logs is always "WARNING 0000002 in CPULoadTimer : fixing CPULoadPanel".

Please, run it with /NOUGURUSCAN command line parameter and let me know. |

Brilliant, that did it! Now that you mention uguru, I remember a Windows alert telling me I should update it. I just left it disabled in the Device Manager and it shows up as an unknown device. But it had to be around that time when it stopped working. |
