Negative value, usually, come from unused temperature sensors.
If your motherboard has Intel QST, then that reading is exactly what's reported by the CPU. Ignore it and use CORE values.

Hello Alfredo,

i have the same Mainboard, but not the Bulk Version, just the Retail one, but technically there is no difference.

I encountered the same problem as reported here by acumenprobitas. The weird thing is that this value is not fix at a minus value, it seems to work. Also in the BIOS there is a CPU Temp reported and it's reported correctly (as far as i could test that).

So i couldn't believe that there is a correct value in the BIOS but a wrong one reported by Intels QST in Speedfan. I tested around and got the correct offset value for this Temp. It's exactly 100 for "Intel QST at $0 on HECI" for "Temperature 1 offset".

The CPU temperature in the QST refers to the Intel Core 0 sensor as far as i could see it here in my tests.

Maybe you acumenprobitas can confirm that value? Or is this an individual value for each Mainboard?

Maybe we can fix with this investigations that offset at all...
