My guess is that it's to allow Speedfan to run from a normal User account, since such users do not have write access to the Program Files folder structure in most systems. I see that this is an old issue with no response but it would certainly be useful to have a note that those .DLL files ARE in fact part of Speedfan. I've seen three recently: sfareca00001.dll, sfamcc00001.dll & sfextra.dll and every scummy file infection advice site on the planet seems to flag them as potentially, or even known to be, unsafe and invites you to "do a scan". |
