You are right. SpeedFan now is more aggressive and lowers fan speeds more often than previous releases. Currently, that image reflects the strategy applied to associated fans. Do you think that I should go back and show the actual temperature trend?

Yes, I think the icon in front of the temps should reflect their trend. It is just very useful to open speedfan and able to see with one look if temps are stable (with green tick) or their trend. And a visualisation of what is happening with the numbers next to the icon makes just more sense usability wise.

It would also be nice (wishlist) when the temp is in warning state, still to see a trend (like on the attached image).

If you want to reflect a fan trend somewhere, you could add a trend icon in front of the fan speed. Sure it would not be tied to a temp like you intended now.... just an idea.

I think need to be configured or in the window indicate the opportunity to serve as a more aggressive and lowers fan speeds, and the old strategy of fan speed.
More agresivny mode is required, in my view, with slightly boot CPU, while standard-to moderate work CPU. Of course, a standard work will be more noise, but there will be less noticeable noise in the jumps dramatically gained momentum fan with full load CPU.
I need the next algorithm automatic control fan CPU:
Set the top, bottom limits of the permissible temperature, set the recommended temperature in this limit and monitor the deviation of temperature in a range of recommended temperature. If the temperature is gradually beginning to increase, within the controllable range, in principle, can be slightly increased speed fan, if dramatic, it is necessary to accelerate the speed fan (let increased by 10%, if not helped, again with a step, time must speed dialing depends on the time of rise in temperature), but did not immediately increased to 100%.
