I apologize for the incomplete report. I accidentally hit the submit button before finishing the bug report (frankly speaking, since I am quite used to other bug tracking systems, I would expect a feature that permits editing of the bug summary). Anyway, the correct summary is "After resuming from hibernate: incorrect fan speed indications, real speed set to 100% (fan speed settings not remembered)" I see the problem since v4.35 the issue is quite similar to the (resolved) bug 0001072. |
|
Just noticed that, the false indications are taken from the settings in Configure->Speeds->Minimum Value although I don't have enabled the "Automatic fan speed" checkbox in the main app. window. |

What's a "fan speed indication"? What's a "real speed"? What's set to "100%"? |
|
Oops, you are right, the terminology I used was incorrect! fan speed indication --> fan speed adjustment indication real speed --> actual fan speed adjustment Thus a proper summary should be "After resuming from hibernate: incorrect speed adjustment indications, actual speed adjustment set to 100% (fan speed adjustments not remembered)" Now it seems even more similar to the bugs I mentioned above. |

I have the exact same issue. Please note that I never set anything in speedfan, just had it running to monitor cpu temp (this makes it an extremely serious bug in my opinion). I was wondering if there's a way to get the original speed numbers so I can manually reenter them in Speedfan (definitely dont want to mess with the default numbers unless there's a need for it). |
