SIL drivers are ugly. I'm trying to fix their issues, but it's not an easy task. Sometimes, the latest drivers appear to be slightly better.
Do you get occasional detections when launching SpeedFan at startup or always?

Right now I have all drivers detected.

Sometimes HD 3 is missing or is 0 but usualy it's enough to exit from speedfan and launch it again.

It looks like that if the disks are busy or on heavy load they are not detected.
But I cannot guarantee it.

Anyway: I can confirm that all the troubles are always related to Sil controllers :-(

It really seems like Speedfan usually fails to detect SATA drives when they are busy (Speedfan loading in windows startup for example).
