| Description | Whenever I start SpeedFan, I get the following error: The procedure entry point HMAC_CTX_set_flags could not be located on the dynamic link library libeay32.dll Then SpeedFan tries detect the sensors on my system which freezes my system for about 2-3 minutes. Then the main UI starts. I am not running SpeedFan as I think it might give problems on my system if used for an extended period of time. I have already sent a report from within the program. | ||||

Have you tried the latest Beta? |

Yes, did you try it? Download it and simply overwrite speedfan.exe. |

About the "libeay32.dll": did you install the latest version of the OpenSSL library? |

Sorry about the late reply. I will try it with latest beta and post back here. I have OpenVPN 2.0.9 installed on the system but dont know if it installed OpenSSL or not. Should I try re-installing OpenVPN? |

I installed version 4.35 but the behavior is the same. I have noticed that the freeze occurs when the speedfan window detects my graphics card, a Nvidia 6600 based card from MSI. The other error message about libeay32.dll also didnt go away. |

Try the Nvidia drivers, maybe that helps. Also try running speedfan with /NOGEFORCEROM or /NOSMBUS |
